Basic Uses
SilGlaze® II may be used for in-shop window fabrication as a bedding sealant, as well as for cap, toe, and heel bead applications. GE® SilGlaze® II Silicone Sealant is also recommended for use as a saw kerf sealant for the setting of dimensional stone panels. It has excellent adhesion to wood, vinyl, aluminum, and glass. May also be used as a perimeter weatherseal for field glazing and window installations.

Limitations
It should not be used for the following applications: structural glazing applications; aquariums; continuous water immersion applications; for applications where FDA or USDA compliance is required; in glass butt joints or other glazing applications where small bubbles which can develop during cure may be objectionable.
